mr. Dirk Berendsen

Dirk Berendsen (1975) studied Law at Utrecht University and started as real estate lawyer at the Utrecht branch of a large international collaborative law firm. Dirk further specialised in real estate practice at internationally operating firms in Amsterdam. In February 2016, he joined Weebers Vastgoed Advocaten N.V.

One of Dirk’s core activities is advising investors on the disposition and acquisition of offices, retail, industrial objects (such as logistic centres) and housing portfolios. Dirk also advises on leasing and letting, corporate law, project development and the construction practice for commercial, industrial, retail and mixed projects and on the private housing market. He also has extensive experience with complex real estate-related litigation and with alternative forms, such as arbitration and mediation.

By far his highest legal value is qualitatively high service, with an ever-present priority of pragmatic and efficient customisation and integral relieve of the client.

Dirk has successfully taken the Grotius specialisation programme in Real Estate Law and has graduated cum laude the VHA specialisation programme in Tenancy law. He is also a member of various organisations in his field.
